Monolith 08:56
Now I feel the sorrow that you once embraced I see the forgotten lies Left to rot as statues watch the mortals play Their game Night guides my fate as I cry From her pain The sea of regrets dies For all that remains I was dying once again I'm still bleeding while horizons die Empty shadows walk away Spellbound no delusions I'm tapped In my maze of torment I drown Sadness I cannot defy Once again the time to weep... The time to endure They want me to die They ask me to rot Eradicate! The time to weep The time to endure The bitter taste Time is sorrow She wrote on her grave The eye fears Betrayed by your gods The monolith of pain prevails Monuments in the misty horizon A pale figure shows me the way Where there is no return from the silent sea I hear the final embrace for my departure And now the act begins in vain Now I feel The shadow's eye on me Can't you see There is no return from the silent sea All alone, I sigh All of the guilty souls hear the fear in my cry The monolith of the lovers dream Feel the sorrow emptying my soul I'm still bleeding while horizons die Empty shadows walk away Spellbound no delusions I'm trapped In my maze of torment I drown Final embrace As the sun dies she whispers We walk among the dead The eye is a certain dream They want me to die They ask me to rot Can't you see There is no return from the silent sea Monolith of the last resort I'm still bleeding while horizons die Empty shadows walk away And I dream of you

Alone, forlorn in silence Nothing left to me But your memory As I close my eyes, as my soul withers The bitter taste of deceit For all that's untold This waste of love, a wound in my heart The grace of your body, imaginary lost The pale distance Devours me from within When shadows are no more And the river stops bleeding The throne of my dead illusions My monument of pain Is your masterpiece My soul bleed it's black delusions In a flowing torrent of hate And all that you were revives As I close my eyes Doomed to my existence Joy swept away The mirage vanished Behind a darkened sky Hear my cry as I've witnessed The fading of your memory This agony inside my soul As I lay myself to rest So I throw myself to death I drown As I close my eyes

These words... These sights, their meaning is dissolving When the past is revealed in each glance at pictures The softness dies under the weight of relentless regrets Comfort... I sought it in martyr's sore While my smiles deceived them all Over life's fake balms & lore I know I can't rely on yours at all The darkest prayers, the shameful pleas End without echoes, without answers I wonder, blinded, among false memories Lured by tales whispered by liars Despite their strokes, these shadows are bitter to my senses Are they the ones who put these chains on me? Or, is my being craving their mocking sympathies? I only know sadness is the lover of reality Feel like no one can decrease the pressure Despair, impotence, the acrid taste of failure.... These pains and cries were born with me Don't even try... You can't save me, for you will know Fall is the price of empathy.... Untold, yet inborn.... Inescapable suffering The face of life is torn As silence is hacked by my sobbing...
